Sharon Dunn is a Client Services Director for First Names Group in the Isle of Man.
No two days are the same in Sharon’s job. Managing a team whilst building key relationships with clients and intermediaries is a role well suited to this straight-talking, multi-tasker. She oversees her team’s day-to-day client administration and also has a number of clients that she deals with directly.

Sharon was born in Northern Ireland and moved to the Island as a child in 1975. She started her career in the finance industry directly from school, initially as an office junior in a small corporate service provider. Ascending through the ranks of two other companies, she joined First Names as a manager in May 2011. Sharon’s ability swiftly led to a senior manager promotion and increased responsibility within the Group. Enjoying what you do and the people you work with is vital in this role

Good communication builds close personal and business bonds. Sharon reports directly to Gary Hepburn. She respects him for his depth of knowledge, approachability and practical advice. Another role that is close to Sharon’s heart is the encouragement and development of junior staff members - managing their expectations and training them – as a happy team is a productive team. Sharon strives to provide and maintain excellent client relationships.
FIRST LIFE LESSON: WARM HOSPITALITY IN HER PARENT’S GUEST HOUSE
Sharon’s satisfying work life flows seamlessly into a full and happy home life. Her three almost grown up children amaze, amuse and exasperate her daily – but she wouldn’t have it any other way. One of her proudest moments last year was raising over £500 for children’s cancer charities when she and her sister walked the 52 miles to Ballaugh in the annual Parish Walk. Now she just needs to finish off her patio and learn how to update her own iPhone and iPad.
