Chris Nicholls is a Manager within our specialist Private Client Yachting and Aviation team in the Isle of Man, focused on superyacht and high-value aircraft ownership and administration.

In his role Chris oversees the day-to-day operational management of his team and takes care of a portfolio of ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients, often acting as a director for client companies, utilising his technical skills in corporate and governance matters. He is a regular attendee at industry events and plays an active role in business development, regularly travelling to meet with clients and intermediaries.

Chris has significant experience in co-ordinating sales and purchases of yacht and aircraft assets, which often involves the integration and delivery of multiple services within tight timescales, as well as close liaison with maritime and aviation lawyers and financiers.

A true yachting and aviation specialist, Chris has spent 17 years in private client servicing, 15 of which have been focused on yachting and aviation services. His in-depth technical skills and knowledge provide clear, concise support to clients throughout the lifecycle of their companies.

Having graduated from Liverpool John Moores University with an honours degree in International Business Studies and French, Chris is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA) and holds the Isle of Man Certificate in Offshore Administration.

Chris’ favourite part of his job is establishing lasting relationships with clients and delivering top quality service to them. He particularly enjoys working with Grant Atchison, whom he admires for his drive and professionalism. Chris has worked closely with Grant for many years and their working styles complement one another to deliver consistently excellent and seamless client service.

FIRST JOB: CLEANING CARS AT A LOCAL CAR DEALER FOR £2 PER HOUR

In his spare time, Chris enjoys nothing more than driving and working on his Classic Mini Cooper. He is filled with ambition and hopes to one day establish his own collection of classic cars, design and build a dream home, assemble a property portfolio… and learn scooter stunts to impress his 11-year-old son!
