First Names Group’s festive fundraiser wins gold at Citywealth brand awards

Following Tuesday night’s awards reception in London, we are delighted to announce that First Names Group took home the gold for ‘CSR Activity of the Year’ in the inaugural Citywealth Brand Management & Reputation Awards!

Over the past couple of years we’ve gained quite the reputation for our annual Christmas charity video, and our prize-winning Citywealth entry centred round our 2015 effort: ‘The Edge’. This comical mock talent show featured festive ‘performances’ from directors across our business and its impact exceeded our expectations. The video achieved thousands of hits and raised nearly £4000 for our chosen charity, Worldwide Cancer Research, which funds research into any type of cancer, anywhere in the world.

Sally Burton-Graham, Director of Fundraising at Worldwide Cancer Research, has commented:

“We’re absolutely delighted for First Names Group and think the Citywealth award is hugely deserved. ‘The Edge’ fundraiser was a fantastic way to raise funds for vital cancer research and showed outstanding effort from First Names Group.”
